Welcome to the tristate area where the sun shines almost every day. Christina (Chris) Barton is originally from rural Minnesota. Before moving to Bullhead City, she resided in Fargo, North Dakota. She was the Bullhead Area Chamber Executive Director from 2010 to 2015 before becoming a middle school teacher with the Bullhead Elementary School District #15. She recently assumed the role at Desert Star Academy as the Middle School Principal/Marketing Director in June of 2022. Chris received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2018 and completed her graduate program of Education Administration in May of 2020, also from Grand Canyon University. Prior to working 13 years in the Chamber industry, she worked in hospitality and retail. Chris is a proud mother of three children: a son Chance, and two daughters; Kennedy, and Acacia. During the past decade of living in Bullhead City, Chris has focused most of her time on her career, raising her family, and getting involved in her community. As a result, she has become very familiar with the business community, educational opportunities, and recreational activities taking place in the Bullhead City area.
